About This Project
Cherry blossoms Sakura movie away from spots
Movie of Cherry blossoms, sakura in Japanese language, filmed in a small town a few hours from Tokyo.
I could walk around a quiet places to go look at the cherry blossoms, sakura, away from the festivities of Tokyo or big city. I had the opportunity to film a few sequences in one of these locations. I filmed with a blackmagic pocket cinema camera (bmpcc) RAW without ring or tripod. I just use a Zacuto Z-Finder. I did not add soundtrack, the ambient sound is raw an natural.
A hanami (in japanes) usually consists of holding an outdoor party under cherry blossom trees during the day or night. Food, beer and sake are brought to a picnic as visitors bask in the cherry blossoms that fall from the tree. The hanami spots include city parks, landscape gardens, castle grounds and along riverbanks, and you’ll find all of these areas buzzing with people throughout the sakura season. Hanami can be conducted
