About This Project
Red carpet cluster Amaryllis, a must for photographer
Series of photographs of Cluster Amaryllis or red spider lilies, taking at Kinchakuda-Manjushage Park along the Koma River in nearby Hidaka City, Japan.
It is a place to see if you are in Tokyo or near during September and early October, the Kinchakuda-Manjushage Park along the Koma River in nearby Hidaka City. This area bursts into red color when 500,000 special flowers come into bloom. With these Cluster Amaryllis or red spider lilies, the area’s fields are transformed into a surreal atmosphere.
Normally red spider lilies can be seen here and there singly or in small clusters and might not be overly impressive. However, expanses of tens of thousands of them are something to behold. If you have the chance to visit Japan during this period, by all means come and experience the ominous beauty of the red spider lily.
