Aber SUP Cup a great day of stand up paddle

Thanks to the association Superformers, association of Stand up paddle of Brest, I was able to go to Aber SUP Cup. It was a great day of stand up paddle. On Saturday, in the Northern Finistère … BIC sup, the sponsor of the day, had invited Eric Terrien already present on the Summer Cup of La Baule who shared the ballad with us and lavished his advice and smiles with kindness All day long !

The big surprise of the ballad was the tasting of oysters organized on the beach of a small paradise island, welcome stop before returning to the sea … and it is a BIC Earth sup that served as support for this magnificent buffet.

On returning from the ballad, there was a regatta organized in the marina … a buckle and a buoy to decide between the two young series, women and men.

The evening ti-punch, which preceded the barbecue at the Kaori space, was very welcome after all these emotions! Great moment with the awards ceremony and raffle draw, there was a BIC Earth sup to win (and also paddles, bags, leashs, tshirts …), a great endowment open to all Registered and I won leash!

The Abers is a place full of myths. To get there, you must first go to Brest, at the end of Finistere. Then another half an hour’s drive to Lannilis. It is one of the points that is also called the end of the world. It is a beautiful brittany. A real postcard in the Caribbean colors: white sandy beaches, turquoise waters, ragged coastlines, deserted islands, sublime lights …

They were monks who, in the 12th century, built a monastery to develop economic activity. During the First World War, the Americans installed a seaplane base there. The painter Bernard Buffet will own the island Stagadon, before selling it to Pierre Bergé, who donated it to Father Jaouen, which welcomes young people in difficulty. From now on, the Aber Wrac’h is a paradise for skateboarders, kitesurfers, and a stand-up or kayak tour and a favorite stop for boaters.

There are different Abers:

The Aber Benoit which separates the beach of St Pabu and the dunes of St Maguerite and the Aber Wrac’h which separates the dunes of St maguerite and Plouguerneau.
